2019 Undergraduate Math Conference

Conference successfully concluded with 17 excellent presentations (by 27 students from 9 schools) and 72 attendees!!!

The University of Tennesee Mathematics Department will be hosting its Thirteenth Annual Undergraduate Math Conference on Saturday, April 13, 2019. The conference will give undergraduate students an opportunity to present their mathematical research, to meet other undergraduates, and hear about their research. Everyone is invited to attend.

This year’s invited speaker is Dr. Farzana Nasrin, Math Dept, UTK, who will speak on Topological Machine Learning in Material Science.

Talks should be prepared for powerpoint-type presentation, 15 minutes long.

Conference Location: Min Kao Bldg, Rm 404   ( map )
(1520 Middle Drive, 37996). We will begin 9am and expect to end by 5pm.

Parking: Please park in the 11th Street Parking Garage which is open to the public on Saturday, April 13. It may be entered from White Ave across from the Four Points by Sheraton hotel (1109 White Ave, 37916).
