Welcome!

I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Math Department at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, and I'll also obtain a Master in Statistics when I graduate in 2017. My research is in commutative algebra where I study graphical structures that can be placed on the elements of a ring. The most common structure is the zero-divisor graph. Click on the Research link above to find out more. I'm also passionate about teaching and have had the opportunity to teach a variety of courses while a graduate student at UTK. I've also tried many methods and techniques, as well as used various types of technology in the classroom such as Smart Board technology and Wolfram Mathematica. Click on the Teaching tab above to find out more about my teaching philosophy and a list of courses I've taught.
