BARRETT LECTURES 2000- GENERAL INFORMATION

HOTEL

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Holiday Inn Select
 in downtown Knoxville,  which is within walking distance (10 min)
 of the UTK campus. The rate is $65/night (same rate for single or
double rooms).

When making your reservation, mention the rooms have been
reserved for the University of Tennessee mathematics department
(Barrett lectures). The reservation due date is May 6.

PARKING

Public parking is available at the parking garage next to the University
Center on Stadium Drive. Please bring your parking ticket to the
registration desk, where it will be stamped. Please note: Friday 5/12 is
Spring Commencement at UTK, so you will need to arrive very early to
get a parking spot.

HOTEL SHUTTLE

A UTK van will be available to take participants from the Holiday
Inn World's Fair Park to the Science and Engineering building on
"the Hill". The first shuttle will leave at 8:15 and the last trip will
be at 9:00.
