To locate your minimum value:
GRAPH
MORE                       (3'rd key top row of keypad)
MATH  (F1)              (located directly under the screen).
FMIN (F4)

                                  To find the minimum value you need define an interval that contains it.
                                  On the bottom of your calculator screen you will see the words
"Left Bound?"            Key in a number to the left of the lowest value.

ENTER.                     Now on the bottom of your screen you will see the words
"Right Bound?"          Key in a number to the right of the lowest value
ENTER                       Now on the bottom of your screen you will see the word
Guess?
ENTER                    The bottom of the screen will give the values for x and y of the minimum point.



To locate your maximum value:

To locate the roots, zeros, or solutions of your function.
 NOTE: YOU WILL NEED TO REPEAT THIS PROCESS FOR EACH ROOT

MATH  (F1)              (located directly under the screen).
ROOT (F3)                Use the arrows to move the cursor to the desired root on the x axis.

                                  To find the minimum value you need define an interval that contains it.
"Left Bound?"            Key in a number to the left of the desired root.

ENTER.                     Now on the bottom of your screen you will see the words
"Right Bound?"          Key in a number to the right of the desired root.
ENTER                       Now on the bottom of your screen you will see the word
Guess?
ENTER                    The bottom of the screen will give the values for x and y of the maximum point.
                                 The root x = # and y = 0 will be located on the bottom of the screen.
                                  Continue this process for any other roots.


Computing the finite Integral    (Begin by graphing your function)

"Lower Limit?"             Enter the lower limit (value of x)
x = #
Hit ENTER.                 Now on the bottom of your screen you will see the words
"Upper Limit?"            Enter the upper limit (value of x)
x = #
Hit ENTER.                 The definite integral of the function is shaded on  your calculator screen.
                                    The display at the base of the screen gives the value of the integral.


.Linear Regression Analysis    (Enter a set of data- and approximate the linear equation)

                                   Enter the Data:

STAT                           You will see a menu on the bottom of the screen.
EDIT (F2)                    Three columns will appear on the screen:    XSTAT,    YSTAT,   FSTAT
                                     Use the arrows to get to the top of each list. Now Hit:
Clear
ENTER                       Do this for each list. After you have cleared the lists.
                                   Use the arrows to get in the XSTAT column and enter the x values. Hit
ENTER                       after each number
                                    Use the arrows to get in the YSTAT column and enter the y values. Hit
ENTER                        after each number

quit                             You should now see a blank screen

                                   Find the equation of the line.
