Textbook: Nagle Saff Snider, Fundamentals of Differential Equations. --- `Officially' we take the latest (i.e., 8th) edition. However, I will also support the 7th edition.

In order to brush up on your Power Series, you may study this old calculus manuscript, ignoring any (obsolete) cross references to textbook pages. Of specific interest here are the power series for sin x, cos x and exp x, the sections up to PS 3.2, and PS 4 (which was downplayed for the originally targeted calculus class, but is the highlight for our purposes in 231).

Concerning free and forced oscillations (Ch 4.9 and 4.10), you may refer to my handed-out notes.

Here is some info about exam 2 that you may want to peruse. Answers to the two test problems therein will soon be posted on the homework page, for which you should have the link.
