| I love math. I was the only one in my immediate family who was a nerd instead of an artist. Maybe that was because I had amazing math teachers in Memphis, Tennessee (Central High!). The average American doesn't love math! Some really hate and fear it. I have to teach them. Because my great teachers were also entertaining and friendly, I know math doesn't have to be incomprehensible, scary, and boring. I hope my students will not only learn the math, but will begin to get over their fear and, maybe even, enjoy it. | |||
