awarded to 2 freshman receiving the highest scores on a competitive examination
Dryzer Fellowship Fund
graduate fellowships or teaching assistant supplements
Edgar and Dorothea Eaves Mathematics Endowment Fund
cash awards for outstanding graduate teaching assistants and competitive summer
scholarships for high school teachers
Cooper D. Schmidt Scholarship
scholarships for outstanding mathematics majors
W. Harold (Harry) Row, Jr. Scholarship
awarded to teachers of elementary, secondary, or higher education who
wish to return to school for additional work in mathematics
James Cooley Scholarship
awarded to outstanding students at the end of their junior year who have an
interest in teaching
Lucille and Herbert Lee Scholarships
scholarships for outstanding mathematics majors
John H. Barrett Memorial Fund
supports the annual Barrett Memorial Lecture series and the annual senior
prize
Mathematics Enrichment Fund
provides fund for scholarships for outstanding students and special projects
to enhance the programs of the department
Mathematics Enrichment Endowment Fund
the interest on this endowment provides funds for the Mathematics Enrichment
Fund
Mathematics Enrichment Scholarship Fund
provides scholarships for graduate and undergraduate students
Polly Anna Harris Math Scholarship Fund
provides scholarships for upper level undergraduate or graduate students majoring
in mathematics
Polly Anna Harris Endowment Fund
Interest earned by this fund shall be added to the endowment until the principal
reaches $15,000. Then the income will go to the Polly Anna Harris Math Scholarship
Fund
Pi Mu Epsilon
supports undergraduate scholarships
Robert T.Gregory Memorial Fund
provides fund for the Robert T. Gregory Lectures
Randall E. Cline Scholarship Fund
supports awards to undergraduate students in mathematics (Contributions of
$50 or more will be split between the endowment and the Randall E. Cline Quasi-endowment.)
Randall E. Cline Memorial Quasi-endowment
supports awards to undergraduate students in mathematics (Contributuions of
$50 or more will be split between the endowment and the Randall E. Cline Scholarship
Fund.)
Tennessee Math Contest Account
supports lodging for students who travel more than 150 miles in the state
of Tennessee to attend the annual contest as well as providing a lunch for
all who register and other expenses such as duplication and postage
Dr. Glenn R. and Elise I. Young Scholarship
established in 2010 to support Physics or Math majors who demonstrate successful academic performance. Preference given to Juniors
Yueh-er, Hong-hsu and Clarence Cheng Kuo Fellowships Endowment Fund
fellowship will recognize an outstanding master's student specializing in
mathematics
