Undergraduate Math Conference

The University of Tennesee Mathematics Department will be hosting its Eleventh Annual Undergraduate Math Conference on Saturday, April 15, 2017. This conference will give undergraduate students a chance to present their mathematical research and to meet other undergraduates and hear about their research. Everyone is invited to attend.

This year's invited speaker is Professor Tom Wright of Wofford College  
(Talk title: Carmichael numbers: a study in fake primes).

Registration is now open. Although there is no registration fee, we ask all those who plan to attend to sign-up so that we can plan for lunch. Please complete your registration by March 31.

Conference Location: Min Kao Bldg, Rm 404
(1520 Middle Drive, 37996). We will begin 9am and expect to end by 5pm.

Parking: Please park in the 11th Street Parking Garage (1101 Cumberland Ave, 37916), which is open to the public on Saturday, April 15. It is located on the corner of Cumberland Ave and 11th St, next to the old Worlds Fair site. It may be entered from White Ave across from the Four Points by Sheraton hotel (1109 White Ave, 37916).
