2020 Undergraduate Math Conference

The University of Tennesee Mathematics Department will be hosting its
Fourteenth Annual Undergraduate Math Conference on Saturday, April 18, 2020. The conference will give undergraduate students an opportunity to present their mathematical research, to meet other undergraduates, and hear about their research. Everyone is invited to attend.

This year’s invited speaker is Prof. Vitaly Ganusov, Microbiology and Math Departments, UTK, who will speak on Strengths and weaknesses of mathematical modeling in biology.

Registration is now OPEN.   Although there is no registration fee, we ask all those who plan to attend to sign-up so that we can plan for lunch. Please complete your registration by March 31.
Talks should be prepared for powerpoint-type presentation, 15 minutes long.

Conference Location: Min Kao Bldg, Rm 404   ( map )
(1520 Middle Drive, 37996). We will begin 9am and expect to end by 5pm.

Parking: Please park in the 11th Street Parking Garage which is open to the public on Saturday.  It may be entered from White Ave, across from the Cumberland House hotel,  1109 White Ave, 37916  (best address for googling directions).
