Math 113 - Mathematical Reasoning.
Math 117 - Honors section of Math 113.

Catalog Description: Classical and modern topics in number theory, logic, geometry, and probability with emphasis on problem solving. Consumer mathematics and other real-world applications. (QR) 3 credit hours.

Math 113 is designed to fulfill general education requirements for students whose majors do not require a specific math class.

Math 117 is an excellent option for students with composite ACT score of 31 or higher (SAT 1380) and who are looking for a math class that is not calculus-based. (Students who wish to enroll in this course but whose test scores do not meet the cut-offs may request permission of the instructor.)
