CirclePack.jar is a Java version of 'CirclePack' which 
should run on all platforms with a simple double click from the
desktop or with terminal command "java -jar CirclePack.jar". 

The jar file includes C libararies which should automatically
install in a temporary directory. If they fail to install,
most operations will be fine; C is a necessity only for 
certain random packing calls and helpful with particularly
intense packing computations.

The software requires Java 1.6 or later. If you are running
MacOS, be sure that Java 1.6+ is installed and also is at the 
top of the Java run list. There may also be problems with the 
C libraries on macOS 64-bit machines requiring that they run
in 32-bit mode.
